Dear Brad, and all the team behind the message that is the #6B's.
On behalf of the Preston Community Centre, I would like to take the opportunity to formally thankyou and your wider team for your support for our #6B’s Men's Mental Health night, held on 4th May 2024, in Preston Tasmania.
I am pleased to report that the night was a success, with an excellent turnout. Organisers were encouraged to hear and witness many attendees discussing matters of significance during the night, with a positive atmosphere shared by all. This was the aim of the evening which is extremely reassuring that the message for men’s mental health is being openly discussed.
Many attendees approached organisers, requesting the evening be held again in the future. All funds raised at our event will be used to make next year's event bigger and better, with the aim of reaching more men to share our message. Our monthly committee meeting was held last week, and the evening has been formally locked in for another year in 2025.
Thankyou again for allowing us the use of #6B's. The significance of your generosity has not been lost on us, and we are extremely grateful. The kind donation of your stubby coolers and clothing items are also greatly appreciated and these items were a huge hit on the night. Even more pleasingly, I have seen the stubby coolers being used by those who received them, around the bar since the night, which is great for starting those conversations men need to have.
I look forward to working with you all again in the future.
